This series has always been one that’s on my list of shame (games that I haven’t played but should). I’m always curious to try games from the horror genre, but lack the constitution to get through them. I tried playing Amnesia earlier today and it was rough. Dead Space 3 definitely looks a bit less terrifying than the previous games and a bit more action-packed, which has me hoping that I’ll actually be able to get through it. Drop-in/drop-out co-op seems promising as well. And oh yeah, doesn’t it look like Dead Space 3 is doing Lost Planet just a bit better than Lost Planet 3?
My mind was blown when I watched this trailer. Honestly, I was a bit underwhelmed with E3 press in general until the Ubisoft presentations and then Watch_Dogs was just the icing on the cake for me. I’m definitely getting a bit of a Bladerunner vibe with some cyber-punk mixed in. Check it out and see what Ubisoft has in store for you!
The new humble indie bundle was released a few days ago. With titles like Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP, Limbo, Psychonauts, Amnesia, and being able to name your own price with profits going to charity, this is a difficult offer to pass up (I know I couldn’t). And oh yeah, they throw in Bastion if you pay over the average. There’s 10 days left to purchase it. What are you waiting for? Get it now and get it here
I’ve only recently had the time to dive down the rabbit hole (does that sound dirty?) that is Skyrim, but I’m sure after some time spent in its winter wonderland I’ll be itching to do some vampire slaying in this first wave of official DLC for Bethesda’s hit game Skyrim.
Ever wanted to play an Assassin’s Creed game first-person? Like old-school sci-fi from the wonderful world of H.G. Wells? I’m not sure if either of these questions accurately describe what I just saw in this trailer, but if your answer to either of them is ‘yes,’ then you may be like me and dig this sick new gameplay trailer from Bethesda’s new title Dishonored.
An exclusive trailer for the new Tomb Raider game hit the interwebz a few days ago. While the idea of a prequel story sounds pretty cool, I’m not sure how I feel about Lara Croft sounding as whiny as she does in this trailer. Isn’t she supposed to be a badass?
If you’ve been curious about Saints Row: The Third, have a solid PC, and been holding back, now’s probably the time to indulge. It’s 66% off this weekend on Steam and $16.99 is pretty hard to beat for a gaming title that’s still as fresh as this one. Take advantage of this before it’s too late. Check it out here
